Het lied 'Nearer my God to Thee' werd in 1841 geschreven door Sarah Fuller Flower Adams. Het lied staat onder meer bekend als één van de laatste liederen die in 1912 op de zinkende Titanic werd gespeeld. De tekst is prachtig en gaat over dichterbij God zijn.
